Blansacar introduced the new professional Diver’s collection, the Blansacar Super Sub.The Blansacar Super Sub is designed to submerge using Automatic movement (ETA 2836-2) with water resistance up to 2000 metres (or approximately 6500 feet). Other than water resistance, the critical success to a professional diver’s watch shall also overcome various natural phenomenons which include water pressure, limited sunlight and corrosion.

Severe water pressure associated with the depth (or pressure at depth) may result in watches with normal quality experiencing unwanted leakages. Using high quality gasket, or more commonly known as “O-ring” made of double layers Teflon technology, watertight seals at the joints can be formed. But to achieve the stated depth which is a challenge to many professional divers, water resistance can be achieved only with the screwed-in case back and double-locked crown.

Blansacar Super Sub case has a diameter of 45mm with rotating bezel, anti-reflection sapphire crystal glass with thickness of 4mm. It also uses 316L surgical grade stainless steel material as casing to achieve better and overall corrosion resistant properties. The watch dial, hands and bezel are set with Super-LumiNova that can operate in the dark like a light battery for at least 8 hours after sufficient activation by lights. The helium relief valve allows such timepiece in the helium-saturated environment as used in depths of more than 250 feet. 

Blansacar Super Sub is specially designed with limited edition of 1000 pieces. Each of which is engraved with a serial number from 001 to 999.
